HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer/ Data Integration Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for combining multiple data sources (4-6 different datasets) into cohesive Power BI dashboards and reports with a focus on delivering impactful data visualizations for executive stakeholders, highlighting application usage metrics and accounting insights.

VARIED DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement data integration solutions to consolidate 4-6 disparate datasets into a unified data model for Power BI reporting

• Create compelling, executive-ready data visualizations that tell clear stories and drive decision-making

• Develop intuitive dashboards with drill-down capabilities tailored for C-suite and senior management consumption

• Translate complex accounting and usage data into accessible visual narratives for non-technical stakeholders

• Build interactive Power BI reports that highlight key business metrics and actionable insights

• Present findings to executive leadership and adapt visualizations based on feedback

• Implement best practices in data visualization design to maximize impact and clarity

• Ensure dashboards balance comprehensive information with executive-level simplicity

• Create automated reporting solutions that deliver consistent, timely insights to leadership

 WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?

• 4+ years of experience with Power BI, including advanced visualization techniques

• Proven track record of creating executive-level dashboards and presentations

• Strong data storytelling abilities and visual design sensibilities

• Experience integrating multiple data sources into cohesive reporting solutions

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences

• Experience gathering requirements from and presenting findings to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with accounting or financial management systems

• Knowledge of application usage analytics and metrics

• Background in finance, accounting, or related field

• Portfolio of executive dashboard designs

• Training or certification in data visualization best practices

• Experience with stakeholder management at executive levels

• Power BI certification
